Let me start by saying the quality and the brightness of these LED pods are great. My only negative is the instructions are buns. They really need to be looked at again and updated. The video was ok, but not everyone is able to drop their tire out of the way.
Amazing lights, looking so good and great quality
Super happy with them. Clear instructions, easy install and great look overall. One minor piece of feedback I have would be to make them fit a bit more flush in the grill. Two of mine protrude slightly on one side. Additionally, the color (which I recognize mine are the smoke color) I would personally prefer a darker color of the plastic to better match the black grill, but that is a nitpick not an actual criticism. Super happy with the product.
Great kit for your Ram. I used it with Harbor Freight's Roadshock 8 gang switch and it fit perfect. The mount fits nicely in a basically empty spot in the engine bay and the switch mount itself mounts nicely on the center console.
Just installed these on my 26 Ram Rebel and I didn’t have to remove the bumper at all. Just loosen the 6 nuts holding the bumper on until they are almost off completely, but not quite. You can then just pull the bumper out and remove the 4 bolts to mount the light brackets. I didn’t even need to lift the rubber piece to get the bolts out, as the new Ram has the rubber cut away around the bolt heads. Slide the brackets in under the rubber and reinsert the bolts! Don’t even need to unplug any wiring, but I did, just to be safe. You need an 18mm deep socket, ratchet and a 13mm wrench..that’s it. Just mount your lights and run your cable through before retightening the bumper nuts if your lights have a plug on them, or you’ll have a hard time getting them ran through.
